The Postgraduate Program in Arts at the State University of Paraná/Campus de Curitiba II - PPGARTES, approved by CAPES in October 2018, for the first class to begin in March 2019, offers a Master's Course in the area of concentration Creative Processes and Educational in Arts.

The Professional Master's Degree in Arts is the first Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in the State of Paraná aimed at serving teachers, researchers and professionals from the most diverse areas of Art, Education and Culture, who wish to carry out theoretical, pedagogical and artistic research. In general terms, this Master's degree aims to deepen artistic knowledge in its practical and theoretical forms, explain the relationships between productions and their social and cultural environment and meet the demand for professional development in the pedagogical, artistic and academic spheres of professionals in the public education network. teaching and graduates from various arts courses and related areas in Paraná and the region, meeting the need for qualifications to carry out teaching, production and academic research activities in the field of Art: Visual Arts, Cinema/Audiovisual, Dance and Theater.

CREATIVE AND EDUCATIONAL PROCESSES IN ARTS

Syllabus: The program converges on the development of action and reflection on artistic creation, artistic making, aesthetic experience and the mediation of this knowledge in formal and non-formal teaching and learning contexts. The area of concentration focuses on research related to the development of the teacher-artist-researcher, inserted in the universe of formal and informal education. The lines of research “Modes of Knowledge and Creative Processes in Arts” and “Experiences and mediations in educational relationships in Arts”, designed to carry out the program of this Course, both propose dialogue between different artistic languages: Visual Arts, Cinema /Audiovisual, Dance and Theater, which aim to enable the development of intellectual and artistic production with an emphasis on the teaching of Arts.

LINE OF RESEARCH: EXPERIENCES AND MEDIATIONS IN EDUCATIONAL RELATIONS IN THE ARTS

Syllabus: This line studies, develops and shares artistic mediations of Visual Arts, Cinema/Audiovisual, Dance and Theater in their relationships with teaching and learning, in formal and informal contexts, in order to introduce artistic processes in contexts of knowledge production . Develops actions aimed at the continuous training of teachers who work in Basic Education and graduates of Arts Courses, through studies that provide: the updating of practical and theoretical references; knowledge about methodological procedures that establish the teaching and learning relationship; teaching experiences and mediations in Arts.

RESEARCH LINE: MODES OF KNOWLEDGE AND CREATIVE PROCESSES IN THE ARTS

Syllabus: This line encompasses the development of research focused on the processes of creation, circulation and reception of products of artistic languages, in the field of Visual Arts, Cinema/Audiovisual, Dance and Theater, with the premise of reflecting on poetics in its relationship with theory, history and criticism, as well as the aesthetic aspects of the cognition and artistic praxis of the teacher-artist-researcher.
